🌟 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠!! 🌟Shifting Gears hosted its very first fundraiser — a beautiful 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐚 — and we are absolutely speechless at the overwhelming support we received.
From our amazing 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 to our wonderful 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬, the event was filled with 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝, 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐚 (𝐡𝐨𝐭 & 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐝!), 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, and most importantly, the chance to share our mission:𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡.
This event marked the beginning of our fundraising journey toward a big dream — a 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 where foster youth (ages 13–25) can eat, learn, play, receive support, and eventually live in 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 as they grow into adulthood and pursue their passions. 💫
